Courtside!

Nate has the best job ever! Not only did he sit front row at the most famous Super Bowl in recent history (the one with the Janet Jackson controversy)...now he gets courtside tickets for the Sacramento Kings vs. Miami Heat game in March. The best part is that this time, I get to go! Yay. Now, if only I could convince his company that they need to hire a pharmacist. The only perk I get from Kaiser is the occasional free pen.

Our seats are right next to the Maloofs!

A picture from the last Kings game we went to...almost 4 years ago! We look so young.

It's Christmas Time in the City...

Nate's mom came up for Thanksgiving and we made our annual journey to the city for the Christmas tree lighting in Union Square. The holiday weekend was filled with good food and alot of walking. We even made it over to the Golden Gate for what must have been the least windy day in the history of the bridge!

Did someone say chocolate?!

And you thought your job was hard!

Shouldn't it be more than a misdemeanor to drop a missile off the Golden Gate Bridge?!

Fun at the Emeryville Yacht Harbor...

It was a nice sunset on Sunday so we over to the yacht harbor to walk around and take some pictures. We got some pretty good shots and it gives me the chance to practice my photoshopping...

Our new house...

Nate and I purchased a new house in Marina Bay. It's located on the old Kaiser shipyards from WWII (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marina_Bay,_Richmond,_California). Thrive! It's not built yet but will be ready in March or April of 2008. It's a great house for us right now because it will cut Nate's work commute by about 10 minutes, it will fit all of our furniture, and it has the perfect laundry room to put the kitty litter box when Nate gets the cat that he's been wanting. I'm hoping that when I get my weenie dog I can teach her to do her number two's in there too :-)

Here's some pictures of the model...

The Big Apple and Our Engagement

Last week we headed to New York City to see Grease and go to the U.S. Open. I also planned a bunch of other things to do while we were there including the Statue of Liberty, a World Trade Center tour, harbor cruise, NYC TV and Movie sites tour, and more. Unfortunately, I planned so much the first day we were there that I forgot to schedule in time to eat. Needless to say, I didn't let Nate eat anything until 5pm...oops.
I guess he forgave me because to my surprise Nate had been doing a little planning of his own and surprised me with an engagement ring on the top of the Empire State Building. Here's some pictures. (You can see more pictures at http://picasaweb.google.com/meganadpi/)

Bums of drum corps

Every year, my inner band geek craves field show performances, and accordingly we find a local drum corps competition to attend.

Weekend before last, Megan and I went down to Stanfurd to see the DCI West Championship. We were treated to some amazing corps from all over the US including the Blue Devils, Santa Clara Vanguard, the Seattle Cascades, and the Cadets among others. These pictures and videos certainly don't do them justice, but the performances were absolutely awesome.

San Francisco Zoo

Nate surprised me with a new camera last week so this weekend we went to the zoo to have a photo competition. We got some really good pictures and decided the competition was a tie. However, when we looked at the pictures closer we realized my camera has two dead pixels...so Nate won the competition by default and we'll have to send my camera back. Here's some of the pictures we took...
