Trip to Southern California

In March we flew down to L.A. to visit family and spend a couple days at Universal Studios. We even got season passes for Universal for about $70. Guess we'll be going back there a couple more times this year!

UFL!

Saturday was the home opener of the California Redwoods. "Who?!", you might say. They are one of the four teams in the new United Football League. Apparently, not too many people know about this new league because there were only about 5000 people at AT&T Park to see them play the New York Sentinels. However, we had a blast and the tickets were super cheap...$20 each...and since barely anyone was there we went right down and sat in the front row. The rules are pretty much the same as the NFL with a few exceptions. We enjoyed it so much that we bought tickets for the next game as well, when they play the Las Vegas Locomotives.
