Depeche Mode in Las Vegas

This weekend we flew down to Las Vegas to see the Depeche Mode concert at The Palms. We flew in our friend's small 4-seater plane very early on Saturday morning...6:45am...ouch. Since we were going to be down there anyway, I talked Nate into staying four days so we could take in a couple more shows. The Depeche Mode show was on Saturday night. It was great...a very small venue (about 2500 people) with not a bad seat in the house. I guess the only bad thing was that they decided not to turn the AC on at all during the entire show. I think it must have been about 95 degrees in there. Thanks Maloofs. Sunday night we went to the Wayne Brady show. This was about the fourth time we've seen him and he was hilarious as always. Then on Monday, we had tickets to see Phantom of the Opera...my favorite. We had front row seats which were magnificent! Along with all the shows, we also took in a couple buffets and ate way too much. We stood in line for 45 minutes to go to the Bellagio buffet...which, I think, was not worth it. Although, they do have all you can eat crab legs and sushi...so if you're into that, this is the place for you.

Heading out to Vegas.

Made it to Vegas...all in one piece!

Nice food presentation at one of the Treasure Island restaurants :-)

Going to the chapel.

Wayne Brady

He hates it when I make him take lame pictures. Hehe.

I took all the strawberries at the buffet :-)

Mmm...grapes.

The Wynn takes the cake for the nicest hotel in Vegas.
